Synopsis
Bye Bye Birdie, inspired by Elvis Presley’s enlistment into the U.S. Army, follows teen idol Conrad Birdie as he receives an Army draft notice, devastating his teenage fans nationwide. His manager plots a publicity stunt to have him kiss a fan on The Ed Sullivan Show before leaving, causing chaos and jealousy in a small Ohio town!
