Synopsis
The Dance Hall of Fame, the first institution ever created to recognize the cultural impact of dance and its greatest contributors, will hold its second annual induction ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at The Eli & Edythe Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center.
The inaugural event in 2025 honored ten icons, including Alvin Ailey, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Stephen "tWitch" Boss, Misty Copeland, Bob Fosse, Martha Graham, Gene Kelly, Kenny Ortega, Jerome Robbins and Twyla Tharp, along with inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Shirley MacLaine, an honor that now carries her name as the "Dance Hall of Fame Shirley MacLaine Lifetime Achievement Award."
