Ric'key Pageot Classic Black

Montreal-born pianist, accordionist, producer, composer, musical director, and Steinway Artist Ric’key Pageot brings his solo piano show Classic Black to the blackbox series – created in partnership with Crewest Studio that celebrates Black excellence in classical music, past and present.

Pageot has written music, recorded, or toured with major music icons like Diana Ross, Earth Wind & Fire, Jill Scott, and The Hollywood Bowl orchestra Eldorado Ballroom curated by Solange Knowles for Saint Heron. He has also worked with such superstars as Madonna, Christina Aguilera, and Cirque du Soleil on their world tours.

Recently returning to his Western classical music roots, Ric’key has performed his Classic Black concert in London, Dubai, Tokyo, and Montreal, performing piano works written by renowned and lesser known Black composers spanning the last three centuries. A truly captivating and educational experience for the audience.
