This compelling courtroom drama tells the story of a young, idealistic-and-untested lawyer, Jake Brigance, defending Carl Lee Hailey, a black man who takes the law into his own hands following an unspeakable crime committed against his young daughter.
Grisham has described the novel as “very autobiographical,” based on a real case he witnessed in which a 12-year-old victim delivered the most harrowing testimony he had ever heard. This gripping stage adaptation was written by award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes.

If that lot is full, there is plenty of street parking on Cleon, the side street just west of the theatre. As you come East on Burbank, you'll cross over Vineland. Just after that, take a right on the street before the theatre (Cleon). That entire street is open parking and just steps away from our front door.
