Synopsis
What happens when Romeo and Juliet fall in love at age 75 instead of 14? This retelling, while faithful to the play and verse, reveals new themes and perspectives. The star-crossed lovers are residents of Verona Village, a retirement community for active seniors in South Florida. Romance, family interference, social expectations, passion, rebellion, desire, and heartbreak don’t disappear with age - and there is still Time Enough for Love.
