Synopsis
Stephen Schwartz’s breakout musical brings the parables of the Gospel of Matthew to life through a small troupe of performers who sing, clown, and storytell their way through familiar teachings. Featuring the hit song “Day by Day,” Godspell is funny, warm, and surprisingly moving, with a score that helped define 1970s musical theatre. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
