Premiered at Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City Festival, the production honors the creativity, influence, and resilience of women across generations, from Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, and Ms. Lauryn Hill, to Rapsody and Doechii. Through cinematic orchestration and street dance vocabularies, it reimagines the hip-hop canon through the lens of female and gender-expansive artistry. This is more than a performance.
